Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After checking in, take some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel while discussing the exciting safari that lies ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its rich birdlife. Upon arrival, embark on a morning game drive focused on bird photography. Look out for flamingos, pelicans, and various species of raptors. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, continue exploring the park, capturing stunning images of birds and other wildlife. Afterward, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive focusing on bird photography. Spot different bird species such as the vibrant lilac-breasted roller, ground hornbills, and more. Have a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your exploration. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and head to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive, with a special focus on capturing the beauty of the diverse bird species in the Serengeti. Look for African fish eagles, secretary birds, and colorful sunbirds. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day in the Serengeti, exploring different areas of the park to maximize your bird photography opportunities. Capture images of migrating birds and resident species while enjoying the stunning landscapes. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue your birdwatching and photography adventures. Return to your lodge for dinner and recount the day’s experiences.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for a day of wildlife and bird photography. The crater is home to an abundance of bird species, including ostriches and various raptors. Enjoy a picnic lunch with breathtaking views of the crater floor before continuing your exploration. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, depart from Ngorongoro Crater and begin your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for shopping or visiting a local market for souvenirs. You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, cherishing the memories of your bird photography adventure in Tanzania.
