Tour Plan

Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, where you will be greeted by our representative. Depart for Mikumi National Park with a scenic drive through rural Tanzania. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Mikumi is known for its rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game viewing in Mikumi. The open savannah and woodlands make this park ideal for game drives, and you may spot large herds of buffalo, elephants, and even predators such as lions and hyenas. A packed lunch will be provided to enjoy at a scenic spot in the park. Continue your afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart Mikumi and drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. This lush and verdant park is a haven for hikers and nature lovers, known for its rich biodiversity and beautiful waterfalls. Upon arrival, enjoy a short hike to the base of the Sanje Waterfalls, where you can swim in the natural pools. Spend the evening at your lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the forest.
Start your day with a trek through the Udzungwa Mountains, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will introduce you to the park’s unique flora and fauna. The park is home to many endemic species, including the Udzungwa red colobus monkey and the Sanje mangabey. Enjoy a packed lunch during your hike and explore more of the park’s trails. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Ruaha National Park, one of Tanzania’s largest and most remote national parks. The drive takes you through diverse landscapes, including rugged mountains and baobab-studded plains. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon, and enjoy a sunset game drive in the park. Ruaha is known for its large populations of elephants, predators such as lions and leopards, and the rare African wild dog.
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Ruaha, exploring its diverse landscapes, from the Great Ruaha River to the rolling hills and open plains. The park is home to a high concentration of elephants, giraffes, and antelopes, as well as a variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be provided during your game drive, followed by more wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend another full day exploring Ruaha, focusing on different regions of the park. Your guide will take you to prime wildlife-viewing spots, where you can see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as the park’s abundant herbivores. Enjoy lunch in the bush and continue your adventure until evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Selous Game Reserve, the largest protected wildlife area in Africa. The journey takes you through rural villages and vast wilderness areas. Arrive at your lodge in Selous in the afternoon and enjoy some leisure time before dinner.
Spend the day exploring the remote wilderness of Selous Game Reserve. Begin with a morning game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and various predators. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you can observe aquatic wildlife and birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Wake up early for a walking safari with a ranger, getting up close to the park’s flora and smaller fauna. After breakfast, continue your exploration of Selous with a game drive, seeking out wildlife in the park’s varied habitats. In the afternoon, relax at the lodge or opt for another boat safari. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Selous before departing for Dar es Salaam. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into your hotel in the city. Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure, reflecting on your incredible safari adventure.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your 12-day safari.
